Ford 3000 motor

Hi all
I am back home for a few days, I am working away.
I now have my 3000 running (thanks Wade for the injection pump).
I would like to know what I have for a motor, I was told it was from a 3600!
The following is stamped on the front right mounting flange of the motor:
E
60L1
1H19 B
Thanks in advance for the help, I tried to find it in my manual, but could not figure it out.
Regards
Brian

I'm not sure about the E or 60L1, but 1H19B is a production code, and it says that the engine was assembled on August 19 of some year that ended in a 1, so it could be 1971, which would be a 3000 engine, or 1981, which would be a 3600 engine, but it doesn't really matter much, since the 3000 diesel and 3600 diesel had the same basic 175 ci engine, but the 3600 was advertised as a few more HP, but according to external_link, the 3000 actually had 1 more drawbar HP and 2 more PTO HP than the 3600 as measured by the Nebraska tests,

On the right side of the engine, just above the oil pan, there should be a large cast number, something like DxNN6015xx or ExNN6015xx. Post that number and I can tell you when that casting was engineered, and we could determine if the casting code was old enough to be a 1971 production code or if it was late enough that it would have had to be a 1981 production code, but as I said, it doesn't really matter much, as they were basically the same engine.

There were minor changes, but a lot of them occurred part way through the 3000 production, like the spin on oil filter and the opening in the block to get the tach drive off of the oil pump instead of the generator, even though they continued to use the generator drive through the end of the 3000 production run, the opening is there on later 3000's to be able to use the oil pump drive.

C9NN6015 A - C9 says that the casting for the block was designed in 1969. The "A" at the very end indicates that it was the very first engineering variant of that casting design, so I'm going to go out on a limb a little, but if I were to wager on it, I would bet that it is a 1971 engine, and therefore from a 3000, and not a 3600.
