My buddy Edward (with no internet)called me this morning and he will be removing the block from his 1950 B ser#265XXX and wants to know the best method for doing this. He has removed the hood/tank and water pipes etc. and has a clear working area to the engine.
I know you pull the head and remove the pistons first to get to the block... duh... but we need to tap into the experience of this forum to find the safest way to remove the block so we can get to that doggone filter case.Jethro.
