Old John Deere dealership photos wanted

I'm looking for old pictures of JD dealership store fronts from the 1930's, 1940's, and 1950's. I'm going to be building a new garage and wanted to make the front look like an old dealership so I'm looking for some ideas.

You need to buy a copy of the Jan-Feb 1998 issue of Two-Cylinder magazine. Lots of good pictures and layout designs in it. Should be able to find one on ebay.

I don't think anything like that existed around here regardless of brand back in the day. I guess the closest would have been the local Oliver - MH - New Holland dealer.

I would
google up Florida Flywheelers Club. They have a antique village with original buildings and recently built a replica of a JD dealership. I am sure they have pictures they could send you.

Wow! That was really neat...I could look at pics like those for hours! I worked for a 3rd generation owner of a single Family owned Case dealership (I was selling Case CE equipment and Kubotas) that opened post WW II as an Ag dealer. They still used the original buildings, most all the display counters, parts bins, literature, and manuals that went unused got moved to storage outside...I could get lost in the past in those storage rooms.
