John Deere 60

I am looking at a JD 60 with an old trip bucket loader that seems to be pretty decent, except for a sediment bowl that was ripped out of tank and a broken exhaust manifold where it goes into intake area. I am guessing as a pre-heat function? Claims to have been driven in barn 2 yrs ago before owner died. It turns free, tires fair sheet metal very good except ls grille screen bent in and a small dent in nose above screen. Seller wants 2K and I am at $1500. I think my offer fair, anyone have another opinion? Has hydraulics and power steering

I gave $1,000 for the last 60, it sat for 9 years in a shed with the water pump bad, fair shape med to poor rubber.

Does it have a 3-point hitch? Carburetor will likely need work if it has been sitting with ethanol in it. If there is no 3-point then 1500-2000 sounds fair, 3-point would add value. I gave 1800 for one that ran well at full choke but wouldn't run without. Cleaned carb and reamed all passages, runs good now without choke. Be sure and ask if there has ever been water in the oil.

The problem is a rotted out intake manifold. If the loader is a 45 or 45W (wide front end tractor). check the underside of the rear axle housings for cracks. If the lateral supports fall off while using the loader can/will torque the rear housings and potentially crack them. 2K is not unreasonable, but I would want to hear it run first.
