I am in the process of rebuilding my 2n and am having a hard time getting the valves out .
the first one came right out but I cant get any of the others to depress at all so I can get the keepers out.Does anyone have a trick I can use ?
using standard tools?

Yep they can be real fun to get out. Time has carboned them up and also got them tight in the holes. I have found making sure the valve it closed all the way and tapping on them to help and ATF and carb cleaner to free them up helps also. There is in fact a special tool made to hook the keepers and pull them but I have bent an ice pick to do so also
