Year A Round Cab

Trying to restore an IH 856. The Y-a-R cab that is currently on it has 8 cracked or just plain missing panels of glass out of the 11 windows on the thing. I know glass isn't cheap. I see an occasional ad for a Hiniker or YAR cab in a magazine for $300-$500 which I imagine I'd spend easily in glass for the one on now.
Is it hard to remove/replace a cab or is it simple as a few super rusty bolts on the underside? Also, are they somewhat universal in fitting or is there a specific model number I need to look for to know it will fit an 856? Some i see are coming off 806s and such.

The cabs are universal. The mounting brackets and cowl panels are model specific. Lots of them around here- both brands were made in Mankato, MN.

I don't know where you are, but i have a Year round off a 1456 without the doors I would sell cheap.
