rWhere can I get a starter ring gear for my 1950 vac & how much of a job is it to change it?.I,m an older fellow and I don,t want to start something that I can,t handle. THANK,S

You are gonna have to split the tractor at the bell housing.......

Where are you at? I've got a few extra flywheels with good ring gears

We changed the one on my dads vac.it was winter after we knocked the old one off we laid the fly wheel out in the cold and laid the ring on a heater about 20 min we slipped the ring over the flywheel,tapet it lightly to make sure it was seated good.just make sure the bevel goes on first.
