I"ve wondered about that myself. Now I know. Its the Cletrac built model, sold by Massey Harris in Canada,Montgomery Wards, and finally Avery. Avery bought the tooling and leftover inventory of the Cletrac "GG"s in 1942,I believe.

Yes it is a Cletrac built tractor built for Co-op and the model is a B-1. It was the smallest model Co-op had when the B-series were in production.

Up to a point!. Any tooling for parts that were common to the wheel tractors and the little HG crawlers had to stay with Cletrac because the HG models were also made for the war effort.

(quoted from post at 18:49:36 06/08/13) What years were the Co-op B1 tractors built?

Jeff

According to the book [u:6fc936530d]Cockshutt- The Complete Story[/u:6fc936530d]. It says beginning in 1939 Cletrac provided a version of their "General" tractor initially sold as the Co-op Model G by the cooperatives, it was then marketed in 1941-1942 in Indiana as the B-1 to coincide with other B-series Co-ops.
