Guys I need some help? Got to take a travel trailer to Cabot Ark. Gonna be traveling east Via I40. Highway 64 goes east of Conway to hwy.5 Cabot would be straight south. I could miss Little Rock. Any one familiar with these roads? Thanks Tom

I lived on HWY 5 for a year. If you are a flatlander it is not a nice road to pull a trailer on unless you are experienced. Some beautiful vistas, but I suspect by the time you get to them you will be concentating on the road pretty hard.

Tom,
Just stay on 64 on past highway 5 to 67 167. Go south to cabot from there. It's a 4 lane. Hiway 64 is a good two lane with periodic passing lanes. you wont have any problem on 64. There's a lot of construction conway to little Rock on I40. I personaly wouldn't go 5. Not much further to take the good road.

Wheat straw; I am Northeast of Parsons. About 30 miles North of Oklahoma, 40 miles west Of Missouri. Thanks for your insight.

Timbernt, I am a flatlander. I once got on highway 160 headed to West Plains, MO I was not a happy camper when I arrived. So I have sought the wisdom of those who live over there. Thanks to you also

I know it doesn't look direct -but I would go to Big Cabin then down 69 to Muskogee - get on the Muskogee turnpike to Rt. 40 east. Take that west to Conway then 164. This will be faster & easier with no hills to speak of and mostly straight & fast roads.

By the way how have you been?
