Hello, bought a pair of RC's from a friend and worked on the loose one this afternoon and was able to get it running. Discovered after i got it running and started adding water that the bottom tank on radiator is rusted thru and shows signs of previous freezing and welding back up. Parts tractor looks to have the same problem, is this common problem area on RC's? Very few around eastern WA so I will pull it off and try to weld it up. Air cleaner pipe is larger than the intake on the Zenith carb, am I missing an adapter or should it have a larger carb( seemed to run fine)? Would anyone have a picture of the spark advance control linkage? Appears that I am missing something. Last question, drive pin out of starting crank to remove radiator sound right? was dark when i quit working on it. Thanks for your help, MIke

The original carb has a larger inlet than most other carbs. It is also slightly angled up. If you can get the correct one it will mate right up to the air cleaner pipe with a piece of hose sealing it. I hope you have better luck than I have had looking for a carb for my 1936 RC. Every one I have found is either a pos or the guy wants 500 dollars for it and it needs a complete overhual. BT
