I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of a Nuvo tractor or Engine. In the 1960s, my brother had a hand crank-start engine that he said was from a Nuvo tractor. I don't know if that is the correct spelling however. Neuvo perhaps?
If anyone has an answer, I would be very greatful to hear from you.
Thank you in advance,
Graydon A.

I don't follow NOVO, but they built an array of models from 1cyl up to 4cyl inlines.
Largest in a 38 Victor catalog is the 4cyl XF 51/4x6, a good sized engine; however, I haven't found a Novo listed as the engine in a full size tractor (as opposed to garden tractors)in any of my old parts catalogs, or recall hearing of one mentioned. (Admittedly, there's lots more I don't know than what I do!).
Nor do I have anything in my tractor list like Nuvo etc--closest is Nateco, supposedly an industrial rather than an ag tractor, but I have no other info on it.
Everyone loves a mystery!!

Bud, Just wanted to tell you that you were absolutely correct in NOVO ! That is exactly what I was looking for. My brother used to build "homemade" tractors using NOVO 4 cyls.
But that was 40 vyears ago and my gray matter is not what it used to be. :)
My thanks once again.
