Massey Harris Grain Drill #20A Questions

Local CL has a Massey Harris 20A drill for sale. He's asking $175.00. Are parts still available? Are they good drills? Anything to watch for besides the fert box condition? I tried to upload photos but they came out blurry. Go to Craigslist Grand Rapids Michigan, Farm & Garden by Owner, Search Grain Drill.

At that price,if it even works at all,BUY IT!!If it doesnt,you can get your money back.Drills are simple,not much to fail..
 
I talked to the seller yesterday. It has always been stored in a barn. He last used it about 20 years ago, but he said he tried it before he posted the ad and everything worked good. Fert boxes are missing some plates. I'm going to go look at it and probably take Delta Red's advice. I just need to figure out how to get it home. I don't think it will fit in the back of my truck. BIL has a trailer I can probably use.

I don't plant a lot of acres but plant cowpeas, wheat, oats, sorghum and millet so I think I'll get a lot of use out of it. Plus by the time I buy plates for sorghum, sunflowers, and cowpeas I'll have spent nearly that much just for the plates. Besides I want to plant some native WSG this year. I'll post pics once it follows me home.
