Hydraulic lift

Is there anyway to make my hydraulic lift work on my 9n tractor without having to engage my pto. Makes me nervous loading my tractor and mower on a trailer with blades turning.

Unhook PTO shaft. Or trade tractor for one with live hydraulics.

Just be sure when you unhook the PTO shaft you pull the end out of the mower so you do not loose the shaft or worst have it drop down and hit the trailer some place and bend it. You if it does not slide out tie it up so as to keep it out of the way and from dropping down and causing a problem
