What is a good 3 bottom 16" rollover plow. The neighbor asked me to keep my eye open for one but I don't even know what is a good one. JD or IH or both? Do they have colters? Paul

I used to have two International three bottom. Don't remember the model number anymore. Took the coulters off and threw them in the iron pile. Don't need them.

When I was younger I worked one summer for a neighbor who had a Massy Ferguson model 57, it did a real nice job.

John Deere 825,835,4200.IH 314,642.Oliver made a good plow, but some comsumables are getting harder to find.Case was a very good, easy pulling plow, but nearly all left side parts are obsolete-not available.John deeres tend to pull a little harder, but are good plows with good parts availability.IH in my opinion is the best in the industry.Coulters are not nessesary.Never use them. Two ways are heavy, you will need to add front end weight.

Allan is correct. The 57 Massey is an outstanding plow.Lots of em are still in use-good parts availability.

I caught pieces of the show. It makes you think, lots of tree rows disappearing and hay fields being put back into production.
