NH 276 square baler help

I broke the needle on my square baler today. It is wire tie. Does anyone have a parts baler I could get one from? Only ones around here are twine tie and that won"t work . Please email with price.

A good weld shop may be able to weld up your old one. I have a couple in my "spare" collection that I welded up with my wire welder.

Ray is correct if you have ALL the broken parts a good shop can weld it back together. My NH271 has needles that where welding up before I got it and they work just fine. You may need to remove both of them so the welding ship can make sure the 2 match

Get it welded its alot cheaper. The far one in the pic was missing a piece thats why it looks like it was not welded good. I ran a couple thousand bales through it and they are holding good.

Whatever you do, you need to figure out why the baler ate your needles in the first place. Make absolutely sure the needle brake is operating properly, and the mechanism that stops the plunger when the needles are out of position is operating properly.

We had a 276, don't know about a wire tie, but with a twine tie, enough HP, and a good windrow, you can keep a bale in the air at all times. My grandfather proved the salesman right about that right after he got it. My uncles in-laws asked him to bale some hay, and he had a bunch down, and they wanted to stack the wagons in the field. They didn't.
