Can you adjust the trip springs on an ih 642 rollover plow?

Yes.there is a7/16 bolt on the back side of the standard that holds the springs in place.Tighten or loosen a bit to meet your needs.You should order a book from binder books.I did when I bought my 642.About $15 bucks.Steve

It's not my plow I'm running it for a friend I'm guessing you turn the bolt tighter for more trip resistance ?

Yes,a little tighter.Too tight and it wont trip....
