I hav e a new holland 790 manure spreader that has just about spread its last load.. It skips out in high gear and the floor is starting to really sag. I had though about fixing the floor and re doing all the gearing but I am planning on being in the cattle business for a bit longer so thinking I should look for a new one. Preferably tandem with endgate and less than 6 feet tall. I am looking for suggestions on brands. Neighbour down the road has a hesston/massey but I am not sure. Suggestions would be great thanks

Got a NH185, bought it new when I got digusted with used terd hursts. It's actually been cheaper overall than used, and no breakdowns. Mine is about 12 years old, gets cleaned out after use (about twice a year) and stored inside. Looks to be good for at least ten more years.

Own two Kuhn knights one box one side singer the box spreader is a 1224 tandem with end gate and I like it has solid poly floor not poly on wood before that one had a 1215 was but outgrew it fast so traded up. They work great no problems freezing and did not cost to much I think it was 12000 New. You might want to look at the 1230 though more the size of one you have
