Well.
The weather here was unusual to say the least. My Davis Weather station Mtd. on the garden barn, recorded a high temp. of 66F @2:13 PM. Thermometer on south side of my house, "in the sun", was reading 98F.LOL.
The uncles finished the 2012 Corn harvest this afternoon, and I won't have to listen to the drone of the drier after tomarrow.(It's not that noisy here, but I know when it is running, here inside the house and can see the light from the burner through my window where my compuker is located). First 4 pics from the roof of my house, notice the shadows make it all the way up to the farm.
The wifey and I went for a ride around the upper 40, first for several weeks, about 4:00 this afternoon. The sun is setting by then and we took a quick ride, before dark.
Aparently there are a couple of Bucks left and in perhaps a in second "Rutt" lots of new rubs.
Hope the pics. and rambling, don't bore you guys.

Thanks for the pics Loren, any idea what moisture the corn was coming at of the field at? Reason I ask is that drying is a foreign concept around here, most everything comes out of the field under 16 every year without a problem.

1st Question..? Is that a nnalert Clinton Farm? HA-HA..
2nd Question..? Whats your take on them so called Chem Trails? I see on the net that now there is a lot of comments about them...

We have them here in Western Nebraska also. A lot of time it looks like they are playing cat and mouse in the sky. Big X's but no O's.

Hi Loren,
Always enjoy the tour,do you use your Case dozer alot? Would like to have one but,not to many around here.Do you have the other tractors tucked aways for winter?

Jammie,
The farm name was derived from Revolutionary War time. Google "General James Clinton" He had become the comander of the Continental Army, and the Army had to make Camp and build a large dam on Otsego Lake, headwaters of the Susquhanna River, so they could raft down to Valley Forge and link with George Washington's army.
The vapor trails have been around here since jet engines were the norm. We are in the NE flyway, so lots of comercial air traffic. The "jet trails" are simple science. Cold moist air is sucked in the jet engine, heated, and exausted back into cold air and condences like fog over a pond on a fall morning. No Chems in them that I know of.
Loren
PS Have you had a chanch to dig out those old pics. of your uncle when he was a Case Dealer? I'm sure the newer members here would enjoy them.
