#17 upgrade. Pull the air inlet and install a Donaldson. It is amazing how much dirt and dust my Donaldson(s) catches that doen go into my oil bath.
#18 upgrade. Power steering. I bought a PS kit for Dextas years back. never installed it, but it will be mount here soon, as this is the first tractor I have rebuilt the gearbox. Will report good or bad.
#19 upgrade. Probalbly closer to the top. Steering ball on the steering wheel. A must.
#20 upgrade. Load the tires. Weight equal traction. Before I load tires, I clean the rims, wire brush them and POR-15 them. I use simple ethelene glycol, used from flushing my cooling systems.
You are welcomed to share your opinion of my suggested upgrades. But remember these are my tractors, and they are used and will likely never see a show or museum. Now that I am reviewing the list, some of the last should be first, if this is a priorty list. I did not count maintenance as upgrades.
