310 backhoe reservoir

Hydraulic reservoir is shot, my question is has anyone mounted a replacement resrvoir on the side or some where else, Also I"m guessing about 7 gals does that sound right?

if its like my 420B it has a 7 gal on each side, if you have just a loader it uses one if a backhoe/loader it uses both for 14 gal capicity so that the oil has a chance to stay cool with digging cnt
