1958 310B Front Loader Valve

I have a Case front loader on a 1958 310B; the front loader ID plate reads Model Number 4032659, although I suspect that this may be the serial#. Its hydraulic pump is driven from the front of the engine. It has a Gresen Minneapolis FO, 2 spool loader valve with float. The bucket tipping spool has begun to bind up. I don't have the schematic or breakdown of this valve; therefore I need it or advice on how to disassemble the spool to check o-rings, springs or whatever may be binding.

this is from a 420B parts but should be the same as it's little brother the 310B cnt

Thank you for the breakdown. It appears to be the same as the 420B except it is upside down on the 310B, mounting under a horizontal plate. Would you happen to have the parts list? Thanks again!

Thank you for the reply; it appears to be the same as the 420B other than it is upside down on the 310B, attached to the underside of a horizontal plate. Would you happen to have the parts list? Thank you again!

Take the caps off the front end of the spools to start with. (opposite end as the handle) There is a screw in there with washers and a spring, I have seen the screws loose, and broken springs that will cause what you explained. Simple fix if that is the problem.

Turned out to be grunge in and around the spring, more than likely from the missing rubber caps on the spring end of both spools. Thanks for the insight!

Thanks again; I went into the bucket tipping spool this afternoon and found grunge around the spring probably from the missing rubber caps which the pictorial brought to light. Works fine now, thanks!
