case 930 w/loader question

I have CK930 gas with a loader that is powered by the 2 tractor outlets, and I want to free up the rear outlets and still have hydraulics to loader.
How do I do it and what do I need to buy. I have the manual but need your help thank you.
Any pictures of the set up would be greatly appreciated John

Do you want to use the loader AND the rear outlets at the same time?

If you are willing to disable the loader while using the rear outlets and then disable the rear outlets while using the loader, there is valving available for external plumbing that you can select either the loader OR the rear outlets. Not simple but doable.

To use both at the same time, you will need to mount a external pump on the pto. If a pto pump, maybe you could put a tee at the transmission drain and a suction line there for the pto pump. Otherwise you will need an external oil tank for a pto pump.

I have done this on several "30" series I remove the line from the pump to the remotes and run a new line from pump outlet to a open center valve then hook the removed line to remotes to outlet of open spool valve, then you will have extra remotes all live I have installed 0ne two or three spool valves depending on how many you need, make sure the valve you install has a adjustable relief and set it to tractor specs, sorry I do not have any pics but could draw a crude flow diagram if you do not understand my directions cnt

I have an eiectric solenoid unit that turns one into two just flip the switch it goes to either one,works good cant remember where I got it some company in Nebraska I've had it since the 80's if your interested I could see if there is a tag on it yet

Quick note, Be sure the external valve you buy has "power beyond" capibility, and not just an OC valve.

Hi, I read your answer to John Seasley in 2012 about using a valve after installing a loader instead of the remotes, I am trying to do the same thing, but I only have pressure on the line coming out of the pump when I pull back on either of the auxiliary valves going to the remotes, do you know a way to tap into full time pressure from the pump.? Thanks !

You won't read any pressure at that line until you put some load on the system, that's how hydraulics work. I don't mean to be condescending but if you don't understand that you should not try to modify your hydraulics yourself, let an expert do it or leave well enough alone. There was a thread here just a while ago, one guy tried that with bad results, deadheaded his pump and blew it up. Recommend you not follow suit.
