I have a Question my 53 DC started it's life as a DC3 I am pretty sure it is a 4 now, as it has a wide front end that is nonajustable Can any one post pictures of a 3 then a 4 I would do my tractor but not that good with camers and dont want to post all the wifes pictures LOL thanks Dale

A DC-3 would have the front end sticking out in front of the radiator. The -4 would be under the radiator. The steering rod on a 3 is going to be higher also (manifold level). Only the build cards will tell you what it was built like. Apparently farmers would convert them to a -4 in the spring to plow, then put a narrow front on it to cultivate back in the day. Farmers worked a lot harder back then then they do now.

you need to contact Rich Tworek at Case. he needs your serial number to look up the build card. mine has two build cards, first it was built as a 53 DC-3, and never shipped. then in 54 was brought back into the factory and reworked as a DC-4 and shipped to Ohio.
