This is a follow up to a previous post a couple days ago.
My buddy took off the shift lever and tower and did not find any obvious wear BUT the bottom 2 to 3 inches of the shaft is bent about 10 degrees in relation to flat portion of the shaft.
He is now in the process of straightening the shaft and putting back together. Will ad vise the results.
