430 Diesel Won't Start

Hello! I have a 430 diesel that I use to bushhog with. It ran fine last weekend, but when I tried to start it yesterday, it would crank but not fire. The fuel level was good when I parked it, so I don't think anything happened there. It has a rain cap on the muffler, but it did sit outside on Tuesday when we had 3" of rain. Any ideas of why it won't fire are appreciated! Thanks, Lee

We need more details. Does it crank over at a good rate? Does it make smoke? Is the weather cooler, and does the preheater work? We can help you with more info.

Mine does that time to time. Its my fault tho. I usually forget to push the kill knob back in

Matt,
You may be on the rite track. I have seen the stop cables break or bend and fail to reset the pump.
