Case Chopper

Neighbor has a 211 chopper,it has all the knives in it,but behind them in the next row has long angle irons in the blower part.Are there supposed to be paddles on them or does it blow the silage the way it is? Hes never used it and was wondering.Hope this isn't to confusing. Rich

No paddles in either my C2 or 200. Just the angle iron like yours. They cut and blow good. Matter of fact one of them came from Don L.

a case chopper hits the shear bar at the far end first bringing the forage in towards the center, the Case sales approach was that you can cut more with an axe than a scissors!I have a 210 and it has paddles

OK, you made me put on my boots and Jacket and grab the flashlite and go look. My 210,solid wheels, has 2 angle irons bolted one on each side of the flywheel to throw silage. The C2,tag says C2PL has paddles and the swivel on the blower pipe like a 200. Must be a late C2, it came from Don. Maybe to save money Case went back to the angle iron on later 210's.

Thanks for the replies,the chopper looks like it hasn't done a lot of work so I thought it strange someone would go to the trouble to just take the paddles out.
