Fordson Dexta tach drive removal

hello
I have a friends Dexta that was brought to me in
poor shape.
I have rewired the entire tractor and replaced the
gauges.

the tach is new and the cable is good but the
drive in the rear of the IP is stripped or worn
out.

I have removed the 4 bolts but the drive housing
won"t separate from the IP,is there anything more
to getting the drive gear out of it"s housing than
that?

Another problem that has cropped up is that the
fuel heater now leaks fuel constantly since
replacing the tap valve under the tank.
Is there supposed to be any fuel stop in that
valve or is the fuel heater the problem?
The heater is electrically sound?

Steve, not sure about the drive housing problem because I can't visualize and can't find info. on it.
The heater has a check ball that is opened when the heater is energized. Dirt under the ball could cause the problem of leaking fuel. Not much to repair, only able to clean or replace the heater.
