1964 Supper Dexta

I have a supper dexta that my dad bought new.when you start it up and let warm up it runs good but if you go up hill it will die roll back down to livel ground it will start up and runs good on level ground and after a while you can go up hill some times need help.I am a fair mechanic cant fix this one HELP.

I read about someone else that had this problem, but it has been a few years ago and I can"t remember the solution.
