I have a us import Super Dexta, and the throttle is fine up until about half throttle, then any more has what feels like spring tension on it, so it automatically returns to half. I disconnected the throttle linkage so it was just the throttle pushrod coming from the injector pump to where it enters the battery compartment, and the tension is at the injector pump somewhere. Its fine if I'm driving the tractor around, but I bought it to use a finishing mower, and that isnt enough throttle. Is there a hidden spring somewhere that can be removed, or are there fuel adjustment screws somewhere, how does it work? I can do the job just holding the throttle, but after the first 2 or 3 minutes, that gets pretty old. I could have gotten plenty of other tractors, but I figured id get a Super to go along with my Dexta and Major Diesel. Thanks for the input. Greyson.
