Have a 445 long fiat diesel[similar to oliver]with clutch problems.I need to split it.Do I have to disconnect anything internally before splitting it?And should I tie clutch pedal in place or what.any suggestions?

I split my 2-50 White, Fiat made this winter to repair the clutch. You do not have to remove anything internally to split the tractor.

Agree, don"t have to undo anything internally. Here"s a pick of my 1365 split during the tear down for restoration last summer. You can see in the pic where the drive clutch rode on the trans input shaft, and where the pto clutch rode on the pto shaft. I probably have pics of most everything available on one of these tractors, so let me know if you need any different views of what things look like.

Thanks for the replies and info. The tractor still pulls fine, but the adjustment rod is maxed out and it still won't disengage all the way. Can't really see anything wrong thru the inspection hole.I'm guessing theres something wrong with the pressure plate. As far as I can tell the throw out bearing looks OK.Best place for quality/affordable parts?

Don't know how to adjust it internally. Both pto and traction clutches not disengaging.Really don't want to split it if I don't have to.
