Injection pump number

There is a seal leaking on the injection pump on the Super 88 Diesel. When I called the diesel shops they want a 10 digit number I don't have a ten digit number. The only number I have is PSB6A-70Y-3826A. Does anyone know where I might be able to get a 10 didgit number cross reference.

Thanks

If you are talking about the throttle shaft oil seal that is Ambac # PK901, and be sitting down when you price it. There is no cross reference I have found, and most likely need it torn down to replace the bearings, and maybe the shaft and housing too, as if they are worn shaft is no longer centered to keep it from leaking.

We have a spare seal, a set of bearings and a gasket set at work. The pump does not need to come off to replace that. I was going to do one for an article for the HPOCA magazine. More questions let me know. J.

The seal is on what is called the fulcrum shaft in the parts break down. And yes it looks like I can change it on the engine. It is amazing be cause Northwest rebuilt this about 8 or 9 years ago and now can't find the number for the pump.
J will you sell me the seal?

The AGCO Number is K5790 for about $27. I'm curious to know what Bosch wants, a couple years ago I was talking to a pump shop and he said Bosch was nearly $100. He ordered 10 AGCO seals from me.

Just changing the seal does not solve the problem. You need to replace the bearings and the shaft if you can find one or repair the old one. Post your phone number. J.

I've replaced seals on plenty of pumps that the bearings and shaft were just fine, but the original 50+ year old leather seal was beyond it's intended life expectancy.
