Have a '67 1550 without Hydra Power Drive. Is this factory or did someone remove it?

On my 1850 and on a 1650 owned by a friend there is an oil cooler mounted on top of the hydradrive . The later 55 series had the cooler mounted at the front of the tractor in front of the radiator . In the 50 series , rubber hose appears to bring water from the radiator to this cooler to cool the fluid from the hydradrive . You might look for plugged water lines from your radiator as an indication that your 1550 originally had a hydradrive .

the ones that came without will have paint on all the parts,And the bell housing won't have a bolt ring on the small end.

Not having the Hydra-Power would be the exception and not the rule. I guess some guys must not of trusted that it was a reliable unit. I went to an auction one time that had an 1800 & 1850 and neither one had a Hydra-Power.

Our '67 1650 came without the Hydra Power Drive also. I think most were made with it, but there are some without.
