300 rebuild

if you still have the 3-9/16 bore sleeves, you could bore em n look for a used piston set, or find a overhaul kit listed on this site for a 350. the sleeves will drop right in your block. 300s have used to adapter wrist pin bushings to .875, or find 350 rods that had small pin pistons.

So to put 350 pistons in my 300 i will need to bore the block, and the wrist pins are different size other then that good to go.

Just purchase a sleeve and piston set for a C-175. Now most if not all places sell the same S&P set for a C-169 and C-175. Blocks are the same size, All sleeves were the same OD size for both.
If the engine serial number is below 48049 (farmall tractor engine) put adapter piston pin bushings in the rod end. If that serial # or above the rods are the same as a C-175.
Not very common to find a 300 engine anymore with 3-9/16 pistons in it as most were already changed to 3-5/8. Have you checked yours?

I have,nt tore down the engine yet ,all I know is it has 169 stamped on block, engine runs fine was wondering if would be worth the money to go 350 kit.
