I have the engine (1655) pulled for other reasons, and I'm inspecting the clutch for wear. Looks like the flywheel side is in pretty good shape, about 1/16-3/32 above the rivet heads (flat) in the pads. The pressure plate side has a little more wear, maybe 1/32 more, and it looks like rivet ends (flared) are just starting to touch on this side. My question is whether the rivet ends wearing against the pressure plate is OK or if the clutch plate should be replaced? Clutch wasn't slipping before removal, so I'm sure it has some life left, just not sure how much and whether replacing now is required.
