There was a story in the State Journal Register about a recently restored 77. I thought some of the folks here may be interested.

I don't care which tractor brand you prefer, that style and paint combination had to be one of the best looking...... back in the day.

That muffler caught my eye too,but I didn't want to pick it apart. The first 77 I bought back in 69 had one just like it.
 
I kind of agree. That muffler sticks out like a turd in a punch bowl. Otherwise an absolutely beautiful tractor!
 
I agree, not pickin, just that the restoration seems to be exceptional and wonder why the fella didn't take the last step.
To each his own.
 
I belong to another brand so to speak, but it is a very sharp looking tractor. Almost looks like an H Farmall muffler.
 
the restorer, Russell Mayes, restored my 1948 Nash. He currently has a 1951 Mercury convertible with the body off the frame.
