D283-4A and D336-4A Valve Guides?

Are diesel 283 and diesel 336 valve guides the same?
The local engine shop can special order D283 guides but nothing listed for the D336. I run 10A4222 heads. Where is a good place to buy these?

In times past, I"ve always installed "conversion" guides. Instead of removing the whole original guide, they"ll bore it out and put in a sleeve to the right size I.D.
If I remember right, they"re 7/16 guides, so I think they"ll have to be bored out to 5/8. I got the ones I use from SBI.

yep we use bronze liners all the time. 5.5 mm up to 7/16
