top cut tires?

The only way we pull our tractors is if top cuts are allowed. I have wanted to pull with you guys and I decided I am not going to change my tires all the time. 90% of our local pulls is top cuts.
 
I think you should allow top cuts in div 2 to even the competition. Otherwise you are sending guys on a treasure hunt to find "road worn" tires. Full cut is a whole different story, that usually requires a professional and $$ but top cut anybody can do.
 
DCTPA has some of the best competition out there, but we need to level the playing field by allowing top cut tires because if we start policing - there will be no pullers left.
 
Top cuts level the playing field,no more these are legal,these are not. While making changes, go to 20" drawbar height. We pull that all around.
 
top cuts are no different than a good road worn tire. the only reason not to allow them is because you have a better set than others. top cuts allow a young puller with not much cash to compete and not have to lose just because he can't afford what a good road worn set will cost. i have a friend that finds good road worn tires but can't afford to keep them because of what they are worth and he needs the money, big family.
 
I like uncut & topcut i would like uncut 18inch 3mph then topcut 20inch 3.5 or 4 mph classes i think there is enough pullers in the area for that.
 
top cut is the only way to go. that way it is impossible to cheat on tires. everybody works on their tires. just some will admit it and some wont. My father and I might actually consider pulling with darke county if they went to topcuts. If it stays uncut, no way.
 
Div 2 is about stock style tractors. If your tractor has enouf beans that you feel you need cut tires then it aint stock, step up to the plate and run div3! Letts try and save a couple classes for the guys that dont have big cubes. We pull div 5 because we dont have enouf engine to keep up with the div2 tractors!!
 
to mm585 do u pull at dctpa? i dont think those tractors r stock...or do u have a good set of road worn tires with about 30% u will sell me?
 
I have several sets of road worn tires. What size do you need? We dont use any of them anymore. some are on rims. I dont know what dctpa is, But i do know being on the board for the antique pulls at the iowa state fair is a cake walk untill you get to the stock class (DIV II). I have been fighting and I do mean fighting to try and keep the hot tractors in the classic or antique classes so the stocker guys have a chance. Its easy to tell what tractors are stock, there the ones that cant get the chain tight. There are allways several tractors in third gear just off idle claiming to be stock, while the FFA kids try to be competitve and cant. my thought is why go beat up on a bunch of stock tractors with a big inch tractor? whats the fun in shooting fish in a barrel? Okay, Im getting off my soap box now!
 
I would Pull my Top Cuts Any Day agenst Road Worn Tires!

But the Road worn tire Guy WONT Like Me After the Pull !!!

Isn't div I stock? Go top cut I am tired of the argument over road wore and top cut. Im gona run top cut next year hope u guys change so I can come play
 
Love to pull with you but for someone with limited funds it is a pain to find and by 2 good sets of tires everywhere else I pull I run top cuts would be great if you would run them so I only need one set of tires
