Had a couple questions come to light both on here (orange goblin) and phone/text/email so I thought Id address them so everyone who might also have a question would know.
Payout on added classes: Will be 200-100-50-50-25, exactly.
Tires: refer to CKAP rules for sizes, top cuts in 3mph and full cuts in 4mph; open class full 18.4x38's
Open tractors: it is as stated. As a division I'm offering an invite to a hot pull in Gordyville, this group will reflect what you might see in there, anything from big molines to high winding 560's and anything else that could be in that group.
I guess more importantly, weather. The weather Friday will be in the 70's, Saturday in the 50's. The biggest problem Im seeing is the chance of rain at work, 40% at this time. There's indication that the rain will be a morning event, in which case we SHOULD be able to make a go of it, even if we run a little late. We'll have two tracks running so if antiques run over into the start time for the other stuff, there will be an intermission for the opening ceremonies and we'll fire right back up again.
I will post my phone number and any additional info friday afternoon I have to offer; I am eager to see each and every one of you who have suggested you're coming, but the one thing I don't want to see is a bunch of guys who have spent 5 or more hours on the road show up and it gets canceled. Not fair to you at all. You all have been very good to me; I'm gonna fight for you all in any way I can to prevent needless problems. My hope is the rain passes early and we deal with some cool weather and that's all. Thanks for your support of the pull!
