MOLINE G6 GOVERNOR

i got a 605 in a G6 but it is a 425 crankcase with 605 jugs and heads. it has a pierce governor and i cant get but 2100 rpms out of it and i have a MSD 6AL box on it that i want to run the rev limiter. i want to take the governor out and block it off but talked with a guy at a pull yesterday and he said he had a 605 case and did this and had to put a shaft in the hole cause it didnt have any oil pressure when he took the governor out. is the 425 case the same way or do i just pull governor and block off hole. thanks for the help

Just pull the governor. Good oil pressure is overrated. Less oil pressure is less pull on the oil pump and more horsepower to the wheels.

i was told by another moline guy not to take it out cause it does need something to block off the oil. i need to get a stronger spring
