baking tires

I pull stock antique,1st gear, uncut tires. My tires are about 10 years old and pretty soft. If I had them baked would it help my traction much and is there anyone in central Indiana that does it?

I have seen that if you take a space heater (salamander, torpedo heater) and put the tractor on stands so you can let the tires turn, you can heat them using the heater but be careful and dont turn them into charcoal.Remember, all you want to do is dry the natural oils of the rubber from them and not burn the rubber and make it brittle.
