2-150 Water in Oil Follow-up

I wrote a while ago about a 2-150 White with water in the oil. Thanks for the helpfull suggestions. After removing the valve covers and pan, my brother couldn't see anything obvious. He presurized the cooling system and the water poured into the engine up front by the timing cover. The water pump didn't show any sign of failure but it was shot. He replaced the pump and everything seems fine. He will know more when he puts it in the field this spring but all looks OK. I think he may have lucked out.
