88 roosamaster pump timing

posted about 10 days ago,back from vacation. have roosamaster pump numbers. the timing is different than bosch pump as the 950 motor in my 88 won't start but will run with a sniff of ether. the numbers on the pump as best i could read are dbc 633 210H, then 10 3684 69562-D. any help would help

Could pump be DBGFC 633 2DH, if so pump may be for a 1650. Will try to look it up. Most likely is marked for end of injection to be set in BTDC range of 2 to 7 degrees. PSB pumps were all begining of injection, but Roosa can be marked either way, depending on how engine maker wants it.

All Roosa Master pumps used in Oliver wheel tractors were timed to the end of injection.

Service book for 1655 says 4' btdc. Will try that. I thought it was a misprint, cause the 88 motor was 24' btdc. Thanks.

it depends on your pump. we have an 88 with a 1650 roosamaster in it and the timing is different from a 1550-1755
