1655 blows thermal relief valves with round baler

I have a small new holland round baler. When I tried to use it with my 1655 I make about 5 bales, and then the tractor would not hold pressure on the remotes to keep the latches on the baler shut. I flipped the hoses on the tractor, and got about 5 more bales before it did the same thing. I took the top cover off the hydraulics and neither thermal relief valve would hold pressure. I use the baler on the 1855 all the time, but would rather use the 1655. What would make the thermal relief valves go bad? Thanks,
