2-70 at the pull

If you remember i overhaulded the 2-70 last winter just before a triple bypass.I had pulled it before and it never got up to speed and pulled way down before spining out.This time it went right up to 2200 and stayed there untill it spun out.I was useing 2nd direct and seemed like i could go up a gear.I was in 10000 pound class with the cab and one weight on each side plus tires mostly full.

larry, sounds like you have it running good. have you had on a dyno? how much power does it make? chuck

No none of them around here.The guys who did the head work put in oversized valve seats. It kind of upset me at the time but they seem to be working so far.
The tractor would need several pulls to get it balenced right for pulling.I use it all summer when the pulls are going on so it only has a chance to go once in awhile.
