Radiator Repair Question

Anybody ever replaced the metal overflow tube on a radiator? Mine is gone from the filler neck to part way down the right side of the radiator. This is on an 1800A gasser. I have a couple ideas but thought I would see if anybody here has done it. Thanks.

I used a length of 1/4 inch copper tubing. I shaped and formed it to the radiator, cut the proper angle at the radiator neck. J b welded it to the neck, let set a couple of days then painted it. Has been fine for two years.

Like J Williams I made a new one from copper pipe. But I soldered it to the neck. JB weld might work just as good.
