Have not gotten a shop manual yet.I am about to change the o-ring and crush seal on the 3 pt cylnder while I have the hydraulic unit off of my 1650.There is a wide o-ring on the piston like part.The new o-ring is about half as thick as the old one.There is no crush ring in it now.Where does the crush seal go?
 
So they are both in the grooves on the piston?One behind the other?What is there now is a large o-ring about 1/8-1/4 thick.
 
There were two different groove widths on most of those so if you don't have it apart yet,I think you'll need a serial number. But yes,they both go in the same groove.
