37 WC Starting when warm

Our 37 WC with crank start only starts pretty easy when cold. But when its warmed up it can be a bugger!
We can usually get it but the back feels it after a lot of cranking.
Any advice or tricks to try?

Seems to be common on the hand crank models I think. All my hand crank WC's and B's are a pain if they are warmed up, fine when cold and I've heard others with the same issue.

Yep common on almost all tractors that are hand start. Fire up good when cold but if you shut one down after running it say and hour hard as heck to restart. Things to try is shut off the fuel to shut it off and then turn back on to restart.

As they said, common problem. I have had best luck as Old said, shut off fuel and let it die instead of killing the mag. Our old WC wont start warm if you kill it or shut it off with the mag ground but if you let it die from lack of fuel you can turn the fuel back on and it will fire right back up.
