What should I expect to pay for front wheels & an original style steering wheel?
Looking at what he says is a 41 & these are (to me anyway) the most noticeable things it needs first.

I have seen new front wheels for sale online at tractor parts stores.
I would be more concerned about how it runs and starts. If it is hand crank started, be careful and follow the instructions, esp making sure its in neutral.
What shape are the tires in? What happened to the old front wheels? In a pinch you can use Chevy rims - the parts dealer here reccommended we get Nova rims when we bent one on our B years ago.

That tells me it may still have original hubs then.
It actually has Chevy wheels, car tires & hubcaps on it now.

Haven't heard it run but owner claims it will, just needs battery.
He's at $750 so not a killer deal if I have to sink much into it.

Miller tire sells a tire and wheel combo. They offer it on E-bay but you can buy it directly through them for the same price. I can't remember the price though.
