AC Moldboard Hydraulic Clinders (H3 )

Yesterday I was operating my AC Model D motorgrader, the stabilizer arm broke off the moldboard and slammed the moldboard to the side and bent the hydraulic cylinders. They are bent about 15%. Do you think I can have them straightened/repaired and I wonder if it will be better to find a couple of good ones instead of straightening them out. Possible used ones I was told will run $350 ea. A second note I am looking for a H3 dozer maybe loader dozer to work on my property. Would like Pros and Cons about them. What to look for and watch out for. Any way thanks for all our help and advice.

You should be able to get those cylinder rams straightened in a hydraulic press without doing damage to them. I have done it. In my local area we have a hydraulic shop that will machine a new ram identical to the damaged one and they are very reasonable cost wise.
Re: Your H3 question......it's a very good little machine. If you can find one with a good (or acceptable) undercarriage and not needing too many other repairs you can accomplish a lot and keep it low cost. It's old technology at work so you have to be patient......a bit underpowered in my opinion......perhaps because I'm used to bigger bulldozers. An H3 is very much like a 60's farm tractor on tracks.
