Rocker arm oiling Model B

I need to know about the oiling system. Does the rocker arm have a channel or interior path for the oil to follow? I can see the oil coming out of one side but I can't tell if all parts are getting lubed or not.

Let me know if I need to provide a better description.

Thanks

The rocker arm shaft is hollow and it plugged on each end. The rear bolt has a grouve cut in it and the oil travels up the grouve into the hollow shaft and out holes to lube the rocker arms. The excess then flows down through the holes the push rods are in and lubes the lifters and cam. Bob

Sounds like the oil is making it to the rocker shaft. Possibly a sludge build up in the shaft restricting flow to the far end or pressure has dropped off by then but still being oiled but not so evident.
May want to remove the rocker assembly and clean and inspect.

Chalmersbob, your description was so clear and easy to understand.

AC used cork stoppers held in each end of the hollow rocker arm tube with cotter keys. After 60+ years of hot oil they tend to dry out and crack causing oil to leak by. I just changed the ones on my "39 B and it makes a difference with the amount of oil that now gets to each rocker arm!
